Flora Chebet
Managing Partner
Flora Chebet is the Founder and Principal Advocate of Flora C & Company Advocates and an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. She is an accomplished legal practitioner with extensive experience in litigation, commercial and corporate law, conveyancing, real estate transactions, and succession matters. Her practice is founded on a commitment to delivering practical, strategic, and client-focused legal solutions that address the unique needs of individuals, businesses, and institutions.
Before founding the firm in 2022, Flora gained valuable experience working with established law firms in Kenya, where she built a strong background in civil and commercial litigation, dispute resolution, conveyancing, debt recovery, and probate and estate administration. She is also trained in data protection through the Centre for Intellectual Property and Information Technology Law (CIPIT) at Strathmore University, reflecting her commitment to staying abreast of emerging legal developments.

Irene Mukumu
Senior Associate
Irene Mukumu is a Senior Associate at Flora C & Company Advocates, having joined the firm as an Associate Advocate in 2022. Based in the United States, she continues to support the firm’s legal practice remotely, contributing to the delivery of strategic, practical and client-focused legal services across a range of matters.
Irene’s practice encompasses Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Commercial & Corporate Law, Conveyancing & Real Estate, and Family Law, with experience advising and supporting clients in both contentious and transactional matters. Her work includes assisting clients in navigating complex legal issues, protecting their interests, managing legal risk and pursuing effective solutions tailored to their particular circumstances.
In Litigation & Dispute Resolution, Irene is involved in matters requiring strategic legal analysis, advocacy and practical dispute-resolution approaches. Her experience also extends to commercial and corporate matters, where she supports individuals, businesses and institutions with legal advice and transactions aimed at protecting their interests and supporting their objectives.
Irene also has experience in conveyancing and real estate, assisting with property-related transactions and providing legal support to clients navigating the requirements of Kenyan property law. Her practice further includes family and succession matters, where she provides professional and considered legal guidance on sensitive personal and family-related issues.
